Allyson Tomchin, LCSW, Allyson is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her B.S.W from the University of South Florida and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University. Allyson is the founder of Directive Energy, in which she maintains a comprehensive private practice in counseling, coaching, family mediation and parenting coordination. She was recently honored by the Boys and Girls Club as one of Broward County’s Most Outstanding Women. Allyson has been a Parenting Coordinator since the inception of the practice in Florida and is a recognized expert in the field. She is the Primary Trainer of the Parenting Coordination Program and brings her vast knowledge and experiences to her teaching. Susan F. Dubow, a pioneer in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), has had a long and distinguished career. Susan served as the Director of the Court Mediation and Arbitration Program, the ADR Division of the 17th Judicial Circuit, Broward County, for over 22 years. This division administrates all of the Court's Mediation programs including Circuit Civil, County Court, Small Claims, Citizens Dispute/Criminal, Dependency and Family as well as the Civil Arbitration program. Susan is a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Primary Mediation Trainer in Circuit, Family and County Mediation. She is also certified as a Circuit, County and Appellate Mediator. Susan served as a member of the Supreme Court's Mediation Qualifications Board (MQB) and is currently Vice-Chair of Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee (MEAC).Susan, an honors graduate of Boston University, is an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center. She has developed curriculum and taught mediation and conflict resolution at Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University. Susan is a Past president of both The Association of South Florida Mediators and Arbitrators (ASFMA) and The Florida Academy of Professional Mediators (FAPM.) She is a Diplomat Member of (FAPM) since 1999 and was the recipient of FAPM's prestigious Award of Merit 2002. In 2004 Susan was horored with The Dispute Resolution Center's Award of Appreciation for Distinguished Service. Susan has achieved Practitioner / Educator membership status with the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR). Barbara Beilly is a General Magistrate in the family division of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, appointed in 1997. She is a past President of the Florida Association of General Magistrates and Child Support Hearing Officers. She is a past President of the Association of South Florida Mediators, past President of the Broward County Women Lawyers Association, past chair of the Family Law Section of the Broward County Bar Association, past chair of the General Magistrate Committee of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, past chair of the Support Issues Committee of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar and a frequent lecturer and author in the area of Florida Family Law and Mediation. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1980. |
